Floris Marnix B. Goerlandt

Dr. Floris Goerlandt is Assistant Professor with the Industrial Engineering Department, Dalhousie University, where he currently holds the Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in risk management and resource optimization for marine industries. His research interests include risk management applications for marine industries, authorities, and associated stakeholders. His recent work has focused on emergency preparedness and response risk management, including marine pollution response, Search and Rescue, and disruptions of multimodal logistics chains due to natural disasters.
