Leanne Beaulieu

Leanne is the Sikumik Qaujimajjuti Mapping Specialist for SmartICE. In this position she is is learning how to interpret satellite imagery and create ice travel safety maps for her community. She trains SmartICE northern staff in the documentation and sharing of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit of sea ice and safe ice travel for their communities. She is a graduate of Nunavut Arctic College’s Environmental Technology Program.
