Robert Briggs

Robert Briggs is a Researcher with the Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering group of the National Research Council of Canada. He has a background in System Engineering, Oceanography and Glacial System Dynamics. He is interested in remote and in situ systems and sensors for measuring and quantifying ice, both in the lab and in the field. His current research is focused on applying these technologies to support safe travel in northern communities and river-ice monitoring.
